How to clean & protect embroidery and stitching

I'thousand planning on detailing the inside of my Focus ST in the well-nigh time to come and I'm trying to figure how how to best clean the embroidery and stitching on my recaro seats. They seem fairly make clean, no real noticeable discoloration in the white stitches. I thought a fabric protector like CG Material Guard would practice the trick simply im not sure on how to apply it other than spraying information technology which volition also get it on my leather seats. Perchance a paint brush and dab information technology on? They are incredible seats, I exercise not want to injure them. Should I avert cleaning them if it doesn't look nessicary to avoid possible dye running?
Opinions please.

I would spray a weak dilution of APC/Fabric Con a material and twist lightly over the embroidery. For the stitching go to a painters or hardware store and get some cheap foam brushes. Apply aforementioned cleaner to the cream and wipe the edge over the stitching, then run a towel over it to take off whatsoever possible excess. To protect use a textile protector with the same tools and process.

Detailing is a way of life, not a hobby!

If information technology was me I would utilize a fiddling flake of folex on a towel and lightly wipe over the embroidery in ane management every bit for the stitching i would use a make up brush or boars hair brush and lightly brush the stitching with folex so to protect i would use something like chemical guys fabric guard or some sort of fabric protectant, and to maintain the cleanest just wipe both embroidery and sticking downwards with a little h2o on a towel every calendar week or two

You should clean it lightly with either a light APC or defended upholstery cleaner, dab it on with a MF towel. Exist careful. Once you do that I would get some type of cloth protector. GTechniq comes to listen. You lot could apply information technology past dabbing every bit well. The primal is to not pull the stitching or embroidery.

Embroidery looks perfect to me

Long term, information technology looks difficult to maintain

CarPro Cloth & Leather sounds like a great telephone call

I like Surf urban center garage leather care and the Lexol 3n1 isnt too bad either. remember to lightly mist your cloth with water beginning. your stiching looks make clean, why non just treat it with what the others accept said or put some scotch baby-sit in a cup and db it on like you said with a fine paint brush?
