Thanks Tom,

I tried as you lot suggested and the startup type for RPC was already gear up to Automatic but was greyed out and I couldn't change it.  The Print Spooler was too set to Automatic already.  When I restarted, Spooler still says failed to outset.

And so doesn't seem to work!

Hello Scott

Thanks for your suggestion.  I followed your instructions and when I clicked on the DependonService value, the existing information already said RPCSS http.  I deleted all of it and typed RPCSS.  When I went to cheque the Spooler, it still says Failed to Read Description. Error Lawmaking: 1813

It doesn't seem to be working.  Is at that place something else I can attempt?!
